Eating Disorder Treatment Options At EDCare Denver
ADULT SERVICES (18 years and older)
Partial Hospitalization Program – This is our highest level of eating disorder care at our Denver location and offers structured, consistent support from a handpicked multidisciplinary treatment team. Individuals participate in their individualized treatment plans during the day and return home at night. Partial Hospitalization is similar in structure to residential or in-patient care, but it offers patients the opportunity to continue to apply their recovery skills outside of the controlled treatment environment when they return home at night or to EDCare’s Connections House. Our evidence-based treatment methods help individuals develop and internalize the recovery skills needed to achieve lasting eating disorder recovery. Partial hospitalization in Denver is an excellent option for patients struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and other conditions who require a more intensive level of care. Our team of specialists can help you determine the right program for your needs.
Intensive Outpatient Program – This program supports individuals stepping down from our Partial Hospitalization Program for eating disorders in Denver. Here individuals continue to utilize their structured, individualized treatment plan to practice recovery skills outside of program.
Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program – These services offer flexible support that seamlessly integrates into busy schedules, providing access to evidence-based treatments from our dedicated team of professionals—all from the comfort of your own home.

In addition to serving the adult community, EDCare is proud to offer specialized eating disorder treatment services for adolescents in Denver.
ADOLESCENT SERVICES (13-17 years old)
Partial Hospitalization Program – Located in a separate suite from our adult program, this is our highest level of adolescent eating disorder care in Denver and offers structured, consistent support from a handpicked multidisciplinary treatment team. Our use of Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) prioritizes family involvement throughout treatment, ensuring teens have the support system they need to achieve long-term recovery. Our adolescent treatment programs are designed to support not only the patient, but also their loved ones, so everyone has the resources for long-term and sustained recovery. Additionally, families have access to our dedicated Education Coordinator who will help families and schools arrange the educational needs of the adolescent throughout the treatment process. Free family housing is also available.
Intensive Outpatient Program – We also offer an intensive outpatient program for adolescent eating disorder recovery in Denver. Adolescent patients can utilize this transitional level of care as they continue to practice and apply the recovery skills they have learned in our Partial Hospitalization Program.
